Abstract

The pathogenicity of microorganisms from the dental plaque is a good reason to believe that these organisms play a major role ip periodontal disease.
To investgate the variation of the mic,¢¥obial population, Dental plaque was obtained from ten adult and children And then from the sixty smear preparation, one hundred and twenty photographs¢¥were taken and observed. The result is as follows.
1. In adult and child, Gram positive microbiota was dominent.
2. In adult, Gram positive microbiota was more countable than that of Gram negative.
3. In child, Gram negative microbiota was more countable than the adult dentition.
4. There were considerable microbiota which is not detectable by this method
